San Gabriel Valley Pride, Inc. announces San Gabriel Valley Pride 2010.
The event on Sunday, September 12, 2010
will take place from 12:00am to 6:00pm
at Memorial Park and the Pasadena Senior Center
located on N. Raymond Ave. and E. Holly St. in Pasadena, California.
Unlike other larger urban Pride celebrations, this event is FREE to the public.

Returning this year is the popular Lifestyle & Business Expo featuring over 40 businesses and community organizations serving the San Gabriel Valley GLBT community. Additionally, Great Autos of Yesteryear sponsors the Classic Car Show on Holly St. The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence will do Bingo as only they can featuring priceless Sisters' humor as well as some great prizes. Films from Outfest will screen throughout the afternoon. Families are once again invited to participate in the day's celebration in the Family & Kids area. As always, the public is invited to picnic in Memorial Park.
Lifestyle Forums will occur throughout the day. These panels consist of professionals from the community itself. DADT or Diversity and Inclusion will feature Julianne Sohn who was forced to resign her commission under the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy and now serves as a police officer with the LAPD. The Men of the Ring of the Nibelung is a talk given by the LA Opera Speakers Bureau member Steve Kohn. He will explore the many male influences in Richard Wagner's life and their connection to the characters that Wagner created in his monumental "Ring Cycle." Dr. Ronni Sanlo and two other Lesbian Enterpreneurs encourage you to Follow Your Passion, Design Your Own Life as they share their experiences of making money as independent business people. Isaiah Baiseri (Glendora HS) and Kimiko Nishitsuji (Gabrielino HS) from the GSA Network will present GSA 101: a primer on Gay/Straight Alliances. Harold and Ellen Kameya share their experiences as a PFLAG family. San Gabriel Valley Pride 2010 is sponsored by the City of Pasadea's Human Relations Commission, Great Autos of Yesteryear, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, with others joining daily as the event approaches.
Also during the event, the San Gabriel Valley Pride Program will be distributed. Advertising opportunities?are available to?businesses and organizations serving the San Gabriel GLBT community at large.
